Minifab, la suite!

Few months ago I told you about this very exciting project : Minifab  (previous post)
In addition of distributing the Seedling and Stuck on You products , Minifab is  organizing birthday parties for kids. I helped them to design few panels in order to decorate the room according different themes.
Here are some pictures of their first events, it’s so nice to see the project going live !

If you are looking for an inspiring place to celebrate your little one’s birthday party, do not hesitate to contact them at info@minifab.com.hk

An office in Chai Wan (4)

Hi Everyone!
Here is the 4th and final installment of my work for Newsprint Group. And this time, I want to share with you the murals.
In order to match with the industrial spirit of the space while bringing some touches of color, we decided to add large paint streaks on some strategic walls. So instead of working on detailed patterns, we privileged texture and color by creating monumental paintings.

We selected three walls:
- the wall facing the elevators,
- the wall shared by the welcome desk and the finance department,
- and the wall of the meeting room.

Here are some picture of the final result.

I’m very happy to introduce to you the new Hoplababy pop up store hosted by  La boutique Troizenfants.

When Elodie, founder of the Hoplababy e-shop, asked me to help her come up with a concept for a retail space, I was immediately seduced by the project. We decided to work on an animal and party themed design.hoplababy_concept-02hoplababy_concept-04

The Minifab project

I have been dying to talk to you about this particular project!
Minifab is the new distributor in Hong Kong of the Australian brands Seedling & Stuck-on-you. I was asked to develop an original design for their entrance hall and playroom/showroom/meeting room, adding fun and functional furniture and wall art.
Minifab is not just a toy store, it is also a creativity laboratory for children. A space where they will be inspired to let their imagination loose. And with that in mind, we decided to adopt the “collage” technique as a graphic base.

The playroom will host different events, from birthdays to handicrafts workshops. We therefore created modular furniture, allowing a variety of configurations according to the number of participants and their ages.

I would like to thank all the members of the Minifab team who have been amazing throughout this process and very welcoming during the setup. Special thanks go to Jenny & Ellen with whom I had worked last year on a few design projects. It was an absolute bliss to collaborate with both of you again.

An office in Chai Wan (1)

I’ve been working on this very exciting project for the past few months now.  We have completely renovated an industrial property into an office space, having to organize it into 8 different departments.

As some of you may know, my initial work experience in Paris centered around working as an interior designer.  Since moving to Hong Kong, it has been a challenge to continue in this field due to the complexities of working in  multiple languages.  However, here I am, jumping into this exciting new adventure, working nights and through long week-ends!

The first step was to agree on the concept and drafting a preliminary layout plan.
